Thank you Pastor Gary and Pastor Rodney for all you do for our Church! WE are truly BLESSED to have you both and all of the staff as our CHURCH FAMILY! I love the idea of the Candlelight Vespers Service for Pastor David. What a beautiful way to remember a phenominal man who still lives on in our hearts.

What a wonderful spirit of worship this past Sunday. Folks just keep telling me what a blessing Altared was in their sharing in song. The Lord did a great work through them and they were sensitive to the Spirit. I was so blessed by the response at the end of the service when so many responsed to the prayer needs of others. We need to bear each other's burdens and carry them to a throne of grace daily. Reach out and be that friend that someone needs. To have friends you must first show yourself friendly. A real friend is first and foremost, a Christian. Only one who knows the love of God first, can love like we ought to love. Until the 10th of October I'll be in the pulpit except for Biker Sunday every service. Let's look forward to September and the start up of a successful fall for Christ. See you Sunday if not before. Bro. Gary.

The dog days of summer are upon us. But, let's not let the heat beat us down in spirit. Summer is such a wonderful time for family, friends, vacation, picnics, just relaxing and replenishing the batteries, both physically and spiritually, for the coming days of fall and winter. I hope that everyone comes back when you get back. We have not not dropped as low as I was first afraid we might. With so many ministries in the "off" mode, it is easy to get in a laid back mentality and lose sight of where we need to be when we get back under way in a few weeks. Rest and get ready to go back to work. We face the most productive days for the church during the school year. Looking forward to see you Sunday if not before. Pastor Gary.
