http://www.srbconline.net A Church with a Heart for Families Fri, 03 Sep 2010 12:33:13 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.8.4 en hourly 1 http://www.srbconline.net/2010/02/a-word-in-the-interim/ http://www.srbconline.net/2010/02/a-word-in-the-interim/#comments Tue, 02 Feb 2010 18:05:56 +0000 admin http://www.srbconline.net/?p=1071      Can you hardly believe that August is all but gone and school is starting?  Down deep inside I’m glad that we are all back in the routine of things, and with the exceptional fall flings, we can look now for everyone to be back from vacation and a summer filled with fun.  Come back now that you are back.  All activities here at SRBC are cranking up for fall.  We will work our way back into a full line-up of Bible studies and Children’s activities, as well as Prayer meetings and music ministry.  Looking forward to it all.  F.A.I.T.H. will begin again the week after Labor day as will the Sunday night’s Pastor’s study.  We will be looking at Bible Phophecy as it applies to the last days…Daniel, Revelations, and other related books of the Bible.
     On Monday night, September 27th, we will observe a Candlelight Vespers Service in the courtyard garden.  This service will mark the first aniversity of Pastor David’s passing.  We want to give all those who need and desire to mark this important date a chance to come together:  to rededicate ourselves to the truth of God’s Word and its power in our lives as he taught us; to remember him and all he meant to us;  to recall his well taught lessons and share his vision for this great church again.  The service will begin at 8:00pm here at SRBC, and in case of bad weather we will meet in the santuary.
