There will be a Parents Only Meeting for those parents who have students involved in the Student Ministry here at SRBC.  The meeting will be held on January 7, 2012 from 5:00-7:00pm.  This is a very important meeting where parents will receive information that is vital to the Student Ministry.  Please let David know if you will be attending.  You may email him at davidg@srbconline.net or call him at church.

The YOUTH will be having their Christmas/New Year’s Party on Sunday, January 8 at 6:00pm.  We will be playing “Dirty Santa” (also known as the White Elephant game), so each student attending is asked to bring a $5 to $10 gift that can go for either a guy or girl.  If you would like to volunteer to help with the party, please contact David Gantt.

Please be in prayer for the 4 student leaders who will be attending SLU (Student Leadership University) International this year July 1-8, Christian Beasley, Michael Martin, Joey Skinner, and from Reflection Church, Kailey Hunter.  This is the trip of a lifetime for these young peoples.  Please pray for peace, traveling mercies, and that enough funds will be raised for their trips.  Donations for any of these leaders need to be received by March 15 payable to SRBC.  Thanks for your prayers, love and support.
