Associate Pastor for Children

Kenneth Fulford serves as the Children’s Pastor at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church, where he is thankful for the opportunity to walk alongside parents and families as they help their children discover the truth of God’s Word, understand the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, and grow in a faith that will guide them throughout their lives. He believes children are never too young to learn the rich truths of Scripture, and he considers it a joy to help build a strong biblical foundation in the hearts of the next generation.

A love for teaching and ministry has shaped much of Kenneth’s life. He earned a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Music Education and Bible and has spent several years serving students through Christian education and local-church ministry. Whether teaching in a classroom, leading children’s church, equipping volunteers, or partnering with families, Kenneth is passionate about making the truths of Scripture clear, memorable, and meaningful for everyday life.

At the heart of Kenneth’s ministry is the conviction that parents are the primary spiritual leaders of their children and that the church has the privilege of supporting them in that calling. His desire is for children not only to learn Bible stories, but also to see how the entire story of Scripture points to Jesus Christ. He longs to see children know what they believe, understand why they believe it, and ultimately place their faith in Christ and live for His glory.

Kenneth serves alongside his wife, Savannah, who shares his heart for ministry and faithfully supports him as they serve the church and its families. They have two daughters, Edythe and Charlotte. As a family, they enjoy traveling, cooking, spending time outdoors, and working on projects around their home. Kenneth considers it a privilege to serve the children and families of Sandy Ridge Baptist Church and to invest in a ministry that reaches far beyond childhood. He looks forward to getting to know each family, encouraging parents, and helping children take meaningful steps in their walk with Christ. His prayer is that the seeds of biblical truth planted in children today will, by God’s grace, produce fruit for generations to come.
